Edward David Osterhout WATERLOO- Edward David Osterhout, 73, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Jan. 26, 2024), at Geneva General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. In honoring his wishes, there will be no services. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be directed to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River St. Waterloo, NY 13165. Edward was born on June 21, 1950, and was the son of the late Richard David and Ursula Jean (Sellers) Osterhout. He worked as a painter for Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a laborer at Toner Paving. He is survived by his daughters, Joette (Stephen) Coriddi and Paulette (Robert) Cain; brothers, Joseph (Mary) Osterhout and David Osterhout; sister, Pamela (Anthony) DiCostanzo; grandchildren, Andrew (Casey) Cornish, Robert (Anna) Cornish, Timothy (Aislinn) Cornish, Courtney Osterhout, Alexander Woody, Jacquelyn Cain, Jada Cain, James Cooley, Cary (TJ) Swilley, Michael Cooley and Sarah (Zackary) Swords; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and best friend, Snickers. Edward was predeceased by his daughter, Suezette Cooley; brothers, Abraham Osterhout and Michael Osterhout; sisters, Mary Lou Coleman and Michelle Leggs.
