Stephen L. Chelenza

GENEVA-Stephen L. Chelenza, 69, passed away Saturday (February 17) at the Geneva Living Center North with his family at his side. In honoring Stephen's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.

Stephen was born June 12, 1954 in Lyons, NY and was the first born child of the late Louis and June (Allen) Chelenza. Stephen was a graduate of DeSales High School. He was employed by U.S. Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier before retiring after more than 30 years of service. In his youth, Stephen loved sports and spent much of his time playing football, golf and bowling. Stephen loved going to the movies and spending time with his beloved dog Khalisi.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara (Baumgart) Chelenza; daughters Ashley (Kyle) Chelenza-Johnson and Melanie (Bill) LaClair; sisters Laurie Guererri and Lisa Chelenza; several nieces, nephews and his beloved grandson Aiden Johnson.
