Bob, ( Dawn) purchased the house next to my parents. I spent a lot of time there babysitting for Eric and eventually Kenny. When I was getting ready to graduate high school, he knew I was looking for a used car. Low and behold he finds one. It was bright green! I later saw Bob often at GGH when I worked there. I will always remember his laugh and sense of humor. Lori Stratton

As a young man in high school with a goal of law enforcement I searched for a place that would allow me to do an internship. Most law enforcement agencies would not even talk to me due to my young age and for understandable liability issues. Through a few connections with the Geneva General Hospital I was approved to an internship with the Security Department. Bob welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to volunteer with his staff. The day I turned 18 Bob hired me. Bob and I became good friends and I eventually worked my way up to second in charge of the department. Bob knew my end goal was to become a NYS Trooper and he pushed me to pursue my dream. One day it became a reality and I was accepted to the Academy. I knew Bob didnt want to see me leave, but I also knew how proud of me he was. The support and guidance Bob gave to me I will never forget. Rest in Peace Bob. You will be missed.

God Bless Bob Colton… May he Rest In Peace and his memory be a cherished blessing to all…. I will miss my dear friend, but am glad he is at peace with no more suffering. I will always cherish my times as his Elf when Bob and I would visit the children at the Jim Dooley Center (formerly the Child Care Center) the residents at the Living Centers and patients at Geneva General Hospital. Bob knew so many people… especially all of the children’s parents… when he would mention their names, the children’s eyes would sparkle even brighter that Bob was truly the real Santa… he brought big smiles to the residents and patients as well as they tried to guess who he was. Loved how his big blue eyes would sparkle as well from the joy he was giving. My love, heart and prayers are with Karen and her Michael and Bob’s family… Cindy Kaufman
