WATERLOO- Antonio Vazquez, 89, passed away peacefully on his birthday, Sat. (March 30, 2024), at home, with his loving family by his side. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Wed. (April 3), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Antonio was born on March 30, 1935, in Puerto Rico and was a son of the late Juan Negron Virella and Juana Vazquez Santiago. He worked as a mechanic at Seneca Foods from July 21, 1966 to March 14, 2008. Antonio was a hard worker who enjoyed playing cards and BINGO.

He is survived by his life partner, Ramona Navarreto of Waterloo; daughter, Jolene (Timothy) Thomas of Fayetteville; other children, Carmen (Luis) Marin of Waterloo, Isa (Willie) Marin of Geneva, Edwin (Maria) Marin of Geneva, Ruben (Luz) Marin of Newark, Francisco (Brenda) Marin of Geneva and Antonio (Courtney) Franco of Penfield; sister, Carmen D. Negron Arroyo of Puerto Rico; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Antonio was predeceased by several siblings.
