GENEVA-Angelo Fiorino "Bona" Melito, 53 yrs old, passed away on Saturday (October 26, 2013) at his home. Friends may call from 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday (October 29), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday (October 30) at noon at St. Francis de Sales Church. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Geneva, NY.
Angelo was born on January 11, 1960 in Geneva, NY and was the son of Mary Jane Vena-Melito and the late Angelo F. Melito, Sr, who passed away in 1996. Bona was employed with Geneva Curb Company, Geneva, NY. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, working on cars, boating, cooking and taking care of his Mother.
Angelo is survived by his mother Mary Jane Vena-Melito of Geneva; brothers Joseph Melito of Seneca Falls, NY and Michael Melito of Geneva; sisters Jean (Frank) Minisci of Seneca Falls, NY and Tina Melito-Genthner of Waterloo, NY; nieces and nephews Melissa (Eric) Minisci-Guenther, Amanda Minisci, Frank Minisci, III, Cristina Melito, Jack Gentner, Meghan Gentner and Nick Gentner; Aunts and Uncle Joanne (Jerry) Haers and Phyllis Lowrey and several cousins.
Angelo is predeceased by his father Angelo F. Melito, Sr.; grandmothers, Cristina Melito and Acqulina Vena-Peters.
