Obituary of Maureen A. Hartman

Please share a memory of Maureen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
My darling Moe/Moeanne of 33 years has gently left this world to finally be rejoined with her beloved daddy, Harry, whose passing in 1997, broke her heart for many years. Now, at last, her heart is healed and mine is broken. From the moment I was introduced to Moe, in 1990, by a mutual friend, I fell in love. We have been inseparable ever since. We married each other in the Eyes of God in a private ceremony in Nov. of 1992, complete with a tuxedo and dress, vows, rings etc., professing our eternal love and caring until "death do us part". She was always very proud that our "Moe Marriage", as she called it, did not need paper to be true and everlasting. A "dog whisperer", she never met a dog that she didn't like, or didn't like her. Moe would explain, "I used to be a dog". She loved all of the animals in the backyard, naming every single one. Moe was an avid skier and had pet names for all of her favorite icy trails in the US and Canada. I will always be thankful to have been at her bedside at URMC when she passed along with her brother Bobby, Best friend Christine Harder and her "sister" cousin Kathy Heveron saying her goodbyes in her ear by phone from Fla. I am sure Moe Was smiling from above as we each kissed her goodbye, hoping our tears would soon turn to smiles. Sweet Moe, I will love you forever XXOO! Smile on, my princess.
