Cynthia Ann "Cindy" (Jensen) Pesta, 74, of Geneva, New York, passed away on June 6, 2024, at Geneva General Hospital with her loving husband at her side. A visitation will be held at the Palmisano–Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street Geneva, NY on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 2 – 4 pm. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the General Scholarship Fund of Alfred State College in the name of Alpha Beta Chi sorority, Alfred, New York 14802 and Beverly Animal Shelter, Waterloo, New York 13165.

Cindy was born in Geneva, New York to parents LeRoy and Rose (Beattie) Jensen on September 3, 1949. She attended Waterloo High School, Waterloo, New York and graduated in 1967. She met he future husband Ron while attending Alfred State College, Alfred, NY and earned her Associate Degree in Medical Technology in 1969 and went on to earn her Baccalaureate Degree in Hematology from Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, New York in 1970. While attending Alfred State College, Cindy pledged Alpha Beta Chi sorority holding several offices and was an active alumna.

Cindy worked in various hospital laboratories in Maryland, Florida, and Louisiana as she accompanied her husband throughout his naval career. She retired from the laboratory in Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, New York working in the Blood Bank.

Cindy is survived by her loving family; husband Ronald, daughter's Jennifer, Kristen, and Sarah (Lloyd Moore Jr.) of Geneva, her son Cody (Nicole Duzy) of North Tonawanda, New York, grandchildren Jazmin, Jason, Destini, Lana and Marleigh, great grandson Yonni, sister Rebecca Ciancaglini (Tony Scaramuzzino), niece Cassondra (Jason) Monahan, nephew Matthew (Audrey) Ciancaglini, and many cousins.

She is predeceased in death by her father and mother LeRoy L. and Rose L. (Beattie) Jensen, her brother LeRoy R. Jensen and her step-mother Lucy D. Jensen.
