Jeanne Margaret Miller

GENEVA- Jeanne Margaret Miller, 103, passed away on Thurs. (July 11, 2024), at Geneva General Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tues. (July 23), at St. Stephen's Church, in Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Jeanne was born on March 5, 1921, in Utica, NY and was the daughter of the late John and Ida (Rivers) Schwertfeger. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Robert Stevens, until her retirement. Jeanne enjoyed volunteering and was involved in the Bear and Doll Project at Golisano Children's Hospital. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Ron and B.J. Miller of Winter Haven, Fla. and Ann Murray of Geneva; grandchildren, Jackie and Frank Shelton, Jennifer and Randy Childs, Patrick Murray and Joshua Murray; great grandchildren, Connor and Addie Shelton, Harrison and Marshall Childs. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, John Miller and sister, Patricia Hawley.
