GENEVA- Julio J Valentin, Jr.,55, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Sept. 18, 2024), at Auburn

Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thurs. (Sept. 26), at the

Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will

follow at 1 p.m. in St. Francis De Sales Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Julio was born on Feb. 6, 1969, in Bronx, NY and was a son of the late Julio and Anna (Mateo)

Valentin, Sr. He graduated from Geneva High School. Julio worked at Geneva General Hospital

as a Nutritional Services Aide. He enjoyed hiking, going for walks, feeding the cats in the

neighborhood, and was an expert on 80’s and 90’s music and reading maps. He also loved

watching Family Feud with his sisters.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Thaler of Bronx, NY and Anna Marie Valentin of Geneva; nieces, Taisha Thaler, Cynthia (Angelica) Thaler, and Destiny Thaler; grandnephews, Joel Santos, Jeremiah Colon, and Daniel Cesario-Thaler; grandniece, Lucille Cesario-Thaler; several cousins, three uncles, and one aunt.

Julio is predeceased by his parents Julio and Anna (Mateo) Valentin Sr, maternal grandparents

Ignacio and Justina (Rolon) Mateo, his sister Carmen I Valentin, and his brother-in-law Felix

Thaler.
