GENEVA/CANANDAIGUA- M. Charles Henry Millis, 65, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Oct. 13, 2024), at home, after a long battle with cancer. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Fri. (Oct. 18), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be at Sandhill Cemetery.

Charlie was born on July 30, 1959, in Clifton Springs and was a son of the late Mortimer Henry and M. Joann (Arthur) Millis, Jr. When he was young, the family relocated to Geneva where he grew up and attended Geneva High School. Charlie was a 47-year member of the Hydrant Hose Company. He worked in shipping and receiving at Parker Hannifin in Lyons and then at Seneca Foods in Geneva. Charlie could fix almost anything, which landed him the title "Mr. Fix-It" of "Hob Cobb Garage", with the motto: "If it's not broken, I can't fix it". He was an avid NASCAR fan who was always excited to go to Watkins Glen International for the races. He also enjoyed travelling across the country to visit various National Parks.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Ann (Gordner) Millis of Canandaigua; son, Brad (Carole) Addona of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Amanda Millis of Canandaigua; siblings, David (Lorraine) Millis of Geneva, Daniel Millis of Geneva, Mary Lou Preston of Geneva, Brian Millis of Geneva and Matthew (Veronica) Millis of Waterloo; sister-in-law, Alessandra Millis of Long Island; grandson, Michael Addona and several nieces and nephews.
Charlie was predeceased by his brother, Timothy Millis.
