Obituary of Lisa Anthony

Lisa Anthony GENEVA-Lisa Anthony, 59, passed away Sunday (October 13, 2024) at Clifton Springs Hospital with her family by her side. Friends may call from 4 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday (October 22) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A prayer service will follow at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. There will be a private burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to John Daniel Shay Memorial Scholarship Supporting O&P Education or The Lipson Cancer Institute Fund in Lisa's memory. Lisa was born on August 23, 1965 in Geneva and was the daughter of the late Angela (Mattocci) Anthony and George Anthony. Lisa was a talented hairstylist for 39 years that was well known in the community. When she wasn't styling hair she was busy creating something, she loved baking, crafting and trying new things. We could always count on her to make cupcakes for the kids birthdays! When we needed help with weddings and parties she was our go to, to decorate, style and bake. She had a knack for making everything beautiful with her hands. She was a lover of purple and in honor of that if you would like to wear purple to her calling hours, she would adore a room filled with purple. Lisa is survived by her sister Gina Fillingham of Geneva; nieces and nephews Chantel (Benjamin) Springer, Anthony Wagner, Michael (Christine) Rosato, II, Jordon Smeatin, Angela Smeatin, Theo (Jaden) Smeatin; great nieces and nephews Vincentino, Angelina, Audrielle Springer, Mariana and Natalie Rosato; stepdaughter Staisha Nolan; grandchild Hayden Nolan; boyfriend Dan Barnett and fur baby William Anthony Barnett "Willie". She is predeceased by her twin sister Kim Smeatin and brother-in law Lester W. Fillingham.
