WATERLOO- Celina Vega-Ferrer, 76, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Oct. 27, 2024), at Canonsburg Hospital in Canonsburg, PA. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thurs. (Nov. 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Fri. (Nov. 8), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Celina was born on April 12, 1948, in Yauco, Puerto Rico and was a daughter of the late Julio and Celia (Ferrer) Vega. She worked for many years at Zotos International in Geneva. To Celina, family was everything. She loved to sing, dance, laugh and joke around.

She is survived by her children, Pedro "Quique" Bernier-Vega of Puerto Rico, Melvin (Chelle) Bernier-Vega of Waterloo, Carlos Bernier-Vega of FL., Irma Padilla-Vega of FL. and Iris (Del) Rippe of PA; siblings, Carlos Vega, Carmelo Flores, Maria Vega and Jose Ferrer; grandchildren, Tanairy Bernier Noguet, Enrique Bernier Noguet, Delfin Antonio Rippe, Eduardo Jose Rippe, Luis A. Bengochea and Celine A. Bengochea, Ashley Bernier, Christopher Bernier, Brianna Bernier, Melvin Bernier, Esperanza Bernier, Diego Bernier and Ellie Bernier-Vega; great-grandchildren, Raegan D. Rippe, Novalee R. Rippe, Sophia Bernier-Knarr, Scarlett Ikeler, Aaliyah Chipp, Rosalina Bernier, Kayden Bernier, Kamden Bernier, Bentley Bernier-Stohner, Jaxon Bernier-Stohner, Mateo Bernier-Stohner, Amelia Rickerson, Wynter Bernier, Jayvony Cunningham and Theodore Bernier.
