Johnnie Ray White GENEVA- Johnnie Ray White, 80 passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Tues. (Jan. 28, 2014), at Geneva General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Fri. (Jan. 31), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. (Feb. 1), at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Geneva. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Mon. (Feb. 3), in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 70 Clark St. Geneva, NY 14456. Johnnie was born on July 7, 1933 in Jacob, FL and was a son of the late Joshua and Mary (Britt) White. He was a hard worker his entire life. Johnnie started at a young age working on the railroad, worked for several years at the Geneva Foundry and was an International Mason for Union Local 103. He married the love of his life, Princess Harvey, and they shared 62 years of marriage together. He enjoyed horses and bowling, but above all he loved his family. Johnnie lived to see 5 generations. Johnnie was a devoted and active member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Geneva. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Princess White of Geneva; sons, Johnnie Ray (Probie) White, Jr. of Newark, Richard (Michelle) White of Geneva, Dante (Myra) White of Geneva and Christopher (Helen Navarro) Tyler-White of Geneva; daughters, Elizabeth (Pee Wee) White of Geneva, Tricia (Robert) White-Golden of Geneva and Priscilla (Rudy) White-Cooper of Rochester, Annette Mallard of Geneva and Donna White of Geneva; son-in-law, Renest Souille of Sodus; 31 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 12 great, great, great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Johnnie was predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl Souille and brother, King Elwood Henderson.
