Mary L. (Montroy) Trumble GENEVA- Mary L. (Montroy) Trumble, 89, died peacefully on Tues. (March 25, 2014), at her home. A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 10 a.m. Sat. (March 29), at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Geneva, NY. Donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Mary was born on Feb. 1, 1925, in Ogdensburg, NY to Napoleon and Melina (Lena) Montroy. Mary was one of six children. She met the love of her life, the late Gordon E. Trumble, Sr. and married July 20, 1945. Mary worked as a nurse at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital and St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Ogdensburg, NY. She later moved to Atlanta, GA. She and her husband retired to Geneva. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mary will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her vibrant smile and the love of her family and friends. She touched the lives of many during her 89 years and will be greatly missed. Mary is survived by her five children, Gordon (Sharon) Trumble, Jr. of Roanoke, VA, Garfield (MaryEllen) Trumble of Greece, NY, Rebecca (Robert) Stewart, of Amherst, NH, Kimberly (Mark) Jones of Geneva and Kent (Debra) Trumble of Waterloo, NY; sister, Dolores McMillan of Cary, NC; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; special friend, Ann Warner, who was like a daughter to her. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon E. Trumble, Sr.; parents, Napoleon and Melina Montroy; grandson, Jason Stewart; brothers, Henry and Patrick Montroy and sisters, Doris Rennyson and Patricia Montroy.
