Kathleen A. Drooby GENEVA-Kathleen A. Drooby, 63, passed away suddenly on Friday (June 27, 2014), at Geneva General Hospital with her family at her side. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues. (July 1), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wed. (July 2), at St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Kathy was born Sept. 5, 1950, in Geneva, and was the daughter of the late Rose (Calabrese) and Carl Cosentino. She attended St. Francis Elementary School and was a 1968 graduate of DeSales High School. Kathy worked as a hair dresser for over 40 yrs. and just retired June 25, 2014 after 25yrs. from North Street School, Geneva. She was an expert on hospitality and was noted for her great cooking. Kathy loved when her little great nieces and nephews came over and played. She loved everyone. Kathy is survived by her husband of 37 yrs. George Drooby of Geneva; daughter, Leeanne Drooby of Geneva; special companion, Morgan; uncle, Vincent "Coolidge" Calabrese; nieces, Christine (BF) Saxby, Lauren (Steve) Komp, and Carlene (Frank) Yunits; several great nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and honorary sister, Cynthia Barnoski. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, brother and sister-in-law Carl, Jr and Marilyn Cosentino and many aunts and uncles. She will be missed by all.
