Vincent D. Lisi GENEVA-Vincent D. Lisi, 92, passed away peacefully on Mon. (August 18, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital. In honoring his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30 am Fri. (August 22) in the Chapel at the Parish Center, located on the St. Francis De Sales campus. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Vincent was born in Geneva on Jan. 29, 1922 and was the son of the late Mary (DiCioccio) and Dominick Lisi. He was a veteran of WW II and retired from Conrail Railroad. Vincent was a member of VFW, Sons of Italy, charter member of Northside Fire Department and Our Lady of Peace Parish. He enjoyed bowling; he would bowl every night if it was possible. He was the first to bowl a 300 at Town and Country Bowl. He is survived by his sisters Irene Ciancaglini and Alise Lisi both of Geneva; many nieces and nephews and a special friend Aaron Hefferons. Vincent is predeceased by his wife Margaret (Monacco) Lisi; infant son Vincent Lisi; brother Peter Lisi and sister Helen Lisi Leavitt.
