Pascual Torres
GENEVA- Pascual Torres, 85, passed away on Wed. (Oct. 1, 2014), at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wed. (Oct. 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in the Newark Cemetery.
Pascual was born on May 14, 1929 in Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Jose Torres and Isadora Ortiz. He worked as a janitor in the Geneva School District.
He is survived by his brothers, Cosme Torres of Newark and Santiago Torres of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Juane Galarza of Jersey City, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
Pascual was predeceased by brothers, Agabito and Pedro Torres; sister, Clara Torres.
