Evangelio Navarro-Rodriguez
AUBURN/GENEVA- Evangelio Navarro-Rodriguez, 80, passed away peacefully on Tues. (Oct. 9, 2012), at the Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Auburn. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Fri. (Oct. 12), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Evangelio was born on Oct. 15, 1931 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and was a son of the late Julian Navarro and Nicolasa Rodriguez.
He is survived by his daughters, Luz Esther Navarro of Boston, Thalia R. (Garnell Tubbs) Navarro of Geneva, Yvonne M. (Eddie) Navarro-Collins of South Carolina and Hebe D. Navarro of Portland, OR; Several brothers and sisters; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Evangelio was predeceased by his son, Vangie Abel Navarro in 1990.
