Obituary of David G. Trunzo

GENEVA- David G. Trunzo, 63, passed away on Tues. (Nov. 25, 2014), after a long illness, at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sun. (Nov. 30), at the Palimsano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 285 Genesee St. Geneva, NY. A prayer service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Mausoleum. David was born on Feb. 2, 1951 in Geneva and was a son of the late Augustus L. and Mary (Oddi) Trunzo. He attended and graduated from St. Francis De Sales Grammar School, Geneva High School and the Freeman Business School in Geneva. David made many friends and contacts working at Jerry Jewelers' Discount House and at Bells Super Market in Geneva. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephews, great-nieces, his father, Gus, a retired Geneva City police officer and his uncle, Robert J. Oddi, also a retired police officer. David was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. He is survived by his brother, Ronald J. (Deborah) Trunzo of Geneva; nephews, Ronald M. Trunzo of Interlaken and Paul T. (Valerie) Trunzo of Phelps; great-nieces, McKenzie and Gabriella Trunzo; aunts, Joyce Oddi, Theresa Trunzo-Burry and Josephine Trunzo, all of Geneva; many cousins and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care David received from the Geneva Living Center South.
