Thomas N. Beniamino, Sr. BORDER CITY- Thomas N. Beniamino, Sr., 77, passed away suddenly on Thurs. (Dec. 18, 2014), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Mon. (Dec. 22) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. The American Legion Post 457 will meet at the funeral to salute their fallen comrade at 6.pm. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Thomas was born in Geneva, NY and was the son of the late Mary (Carello) and Dominick Beniamino. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the 1961-1963 Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam. Tom was a member of The American Legion Post 457 in Phelps and AMVets in Mount Dora, Post 1992, Florida. Thomas also enjoyed working on cars, carpentry, dancing and listening to country and western music. He was the shuffle board champ in Florida for three straight years where he and Mary spent the last few winters. Above all, he loved spending time with his family Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Hadden) Beniamino of Geneva; son, Thomas Beniamino, Jr. of Virginia; daughter, Helen Wild of Florida; brother, John (Ursula) Beniamino of Geneva; sister, Grace Beniamino of Geneva; grandchildren, Brooke (Greg), Jason (Terri) and Emily (Travis); great grandchildren, Madilyn, Kennedy, Dillon and Cole; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his canine companion, Teddy Bear. He was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Wyszkowski and brother, Joseph Beniamino.
