Mary Rose King GENEVA- Mary Rose Puma Picchi King, 78, passed away on Tues. (Dec. 23, 2014), at her home, with her loving children at her side. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Fri. (Jan. 2, 2015), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions in Mary's name may be directed to the Hope Lodge 1120 S. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14620. Mary was born on Feb. 22, 1936 in Pittston, PA and was a daughter of the late Angeline (Cappizi) and Joseph Puma. She was married to Frank Picchi and ran a restaurant for 17 yrs., before Frank was called to be with the Lord. Mary retired from Geneva General Hospital, where she worked for 10 yrs. She remarried to Oren King and moved to North Carolina, where she resided for 31 years until Oren passed on to be with the Lord. Mary then moved back to Geneva to be with her children. She is survived by her children, Louis Picchi, Duane (Laurie) Picchi, Clifford (Karen) Picchi and Esther (John) Leavitt; 6 grandchildren, Frank, Ariane, Amanda, Christopher, John and Drew; great-grandson, Kaleb; several nieces, nephews and special friends in Geneva and North Carolina; brothers, Joe (Claudia) Puma, Tony (Judy) Puma; sisters, Theresa (Joe) Piccillo, Angie (Bob) Deardorf and Rosie (Jack) Theres. Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Sam Puma, Al Puma; infant brother, Alexander Puma; sisters, Josie Alaimo, Anna Urbano and Jessie Hill.
