Obituary of Jennie Luciano

Jennie Luciano GENEVA- Jennie Luciano, 93, passed away Sun. (Oct. 14, 2012). Jennie's last days were spent sharing memories with her family and friends. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Fri., (Oct.19), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home 28 Genesee St., Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Sat. (Oct. 20), at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Francis De Sales - St. Stephen's School Education Fund, 17 Elmwood Avenue, Geneva, NY 14456, Martha's Ministry 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456, or the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester Motherhouse, 150 French Rd., Rochester, NY 14618. Jennie was born in Geneva on March 23, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Bruno) Luciano. She was a member of St. Francis and St. Stephen parishes, Legion of Mary (holding several offices), Spiritual Life Committee, coordinator of the DOVE Program for many years, the G.A.I.L. Lodge 2397A and the Sisters of St. Joseph Associates. Jennie is survived by her brother, Louis Luciano of Sterling, VA; sister, Marguerite Pasqua Harber and brother-in-law, John Harber, both of Geneva; brother-in-law, Chuck Zink; sister-in-law, Peggy Luciano; several nieces and nephews, which were like her children: David, Cheryl, Karen (Jack O'Donnell) and Frank Luciano; Steven, Danny (Nicole), Joe and Kathy Zink; Mary-Anne (Ron Patrick), Joanne (Dennis Williams), Meg (Jeff Wright), Kathy (Stacey Ware), Laurene (Carl Holcomb), Elizabeth, Veronica (Gary Clifford) and Concetta Pasqua; Louis Luciano, Jr.; 35 great and 19 great, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Luciano; sister, Teresa Zink; brother-in-law, Lawrence Pasqua; sister-in-law, Lucille Luciano and a dear friend Peggy Riley.
