Ellen 'Ellie' (Caito) Notebaert GENEVA- Ellen 'Ellie' (Caito) Notebaert, 93, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Oct. 17, 2012), at the Geneva Living Center North. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sun. (Oct. 21), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Mon. (Oct. 22), at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Donations can be made to the Memorial Program of St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, the Geneva Living Center North 196 North St. Geneva, NY 14456, or the Ontario ARC 3071 County Complex Dr. Canandaigua, NY 14424. Ellie was born on March 22, 1919, in Mt. Morris, NY, and was the daughter of the late Gregorio and Rose (Bellioti) Caito. She was a devoted wife and mother and cleaned houses. Ellie was an active member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. She loved to cook, bake and feed everyone. Ellie enjoyed taking care of others. She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Michele) Notebaert of Clyde, Edmund P. (Chelsea) Notebaert II and Greg (Patty) Notebaert, all of Geneva; grandchildren, Edmund (Cynthia) Notebaert III, Christina (Mark) Bivins, Tina (Josh) Jacobs, Michael (Veronica) Notebaert, Kimberly Notebaert, Jessica Notebaert, Thomas (Chelsea) Notebaert, Jr., Desiree Notebaert, Ashley Notebaert, Keenan Notebaert, Kassidy Notebaert and several great-grandchildren; brother, Phillip Caito and sister, Diane DeMarco. Ellie was predeceased by her husband, Edmund P. Notebaert; daughter, Regina Notebaert; step-mother, Caroline Caito and brother, Judge Joseph G. Caito. The family would like to thank the staff at the Geneva Living Center North for the special care they gave Ellie.
