Gloria C. Wenz
GENEVA-Gloria C. Wenz, 90, passed away peacefully on Wed. (April 15, 2015) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends may attend a graveside service Wed. (April 22) at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneva.
Contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P O Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 in her memory.
Gloria was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Geneva, NY and was the daughter of the late Michelena (Paradiso) and Nicholas Cocco. She retired from the Geneva Post Office after several years. Gloria loved to travel and be with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Douglas) Sawin of Geneva; son Gary Wenz; grandchildren Christina Swando, Brian Sawin and Nicholas Wenz; one great granddaughter Abigail.
Gloria is predeceased by her husband Charles C. Wenz, Jr.; brothers James and Fred Coco; and sister Rose Morrow.
Gloria's family would like to thank the staff at SNU Huntington Living Center for their loving care of their Mom.
