GENEVA-Elyard Smith, 95, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday (June 5) at Faith Community Church, 90 Lewis Street, Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Sampson Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Romulus, NY.
Elyard was born on March 28, 1920 in Willacocche, GA and was the son of the late Fannie Mae (Hardy) and Steven Smith. He worked for many years at Caulkins Tire in Seneca Falls, NY. He is survived by his sons Eddie (Mary) Smith and Willie Smith; daughters Mary (Kirk) Nelson of Geneva, Juanita Smith, Amanda Smith and Leonora (Dan) Smith; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife Maggie Smith and sister Doris Graham.
