ROCHESTER/GENEVA- Karen Marie Spina, 53, passed away on Sat. (June 27, 2015), at Rochester General Hospital. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thurs. (July 2), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva.

Karen was born on Feb. 24, 1962, in Geneva and was the daughter of Thomas and Carol (Swift) Spina. She attended Alfred State. She worked at Kodak for 25 years, her last job as an Environmental Safety Specialist. Karen enjoyed photography and indulging her nephew Nicholas.
She is survived by her parents Thomas and Carol (Swift) Spina of Geneva; sister, Kathy (Bob) Main of Canandaigua; brother, Joseph Spina of Brighton; nephew and Godson, Nicholas Main; special friend, Diane Flynn of Rochester; several cousins.
