Ann Marie Tiefert PENN YAN - Ann Marie Tiefert, 57, passed away Tues. (March 1, 2011) at home. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Fri. (March 4) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Sat. (March 5) at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 48 Pulteney St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society 1400 Winton Rd. North Rochester, NY 14609, or the charity of one's choice. Ann Marie was born Dec. 4, 1953 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Vincentzo and Angelina (Caito) DiCola. She worked on the assembly line for Sylvania, in Seneca Falls for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed going for walks and dancing. Ann Marie served as a volunteer for cancer support groups. She was a member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Christopher Michael Tiefert and his fiancé, Kristina Hay of Mechanicsburg, PA; brother, Ralph and Robin DiCola of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Pauline and Randy Pealer of Elmira, Teresa and Earl Pealer of Penn Yan, Angela and Phil Beniamino of Geneva, Mary Ann and Mike Moriabito of NC, Helen Dever DiCola of GA and Ursula and John Beniamino of Geneva; grandchild, Jack; Godson, Nathan Moriabito; brother-in-law, Bob Pealer; many special friends, especially Sandy Finnegan; former husband, Ronald Tiefert of North Port, FL and several nieces and nephews. Ann Marie was predeceased by her brothers, Joe, Jim, Greg and Steve DiCola.
