WATERLOO - Lucy D. Jensen, 88, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (March 10, 2011) at home. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sun. (March 13) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Mon. (March 14), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, in Geneva. Burial will follow is Glenwood Cemetery.

Lucy was born on Dec. 12, 1922, in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Carelli) Deledonne. She was a graduate of Geneva High School, class of 1944. Lucy was employed by the Hulse Manufacturing Co., in Geneva for many years. She was a member of the Rosary Society, St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, and was a dedicated volunteer for Martha Ministry and other local organizations. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling.


She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Ronald) Pesta of Geneva and Rebecca Ciancaglini of Canandaigua; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Cody and Sarah Pesta, Cassondra (Jason) Monahan and Matthew Ciancaglini; five great-grandchildren; several special and loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews and great, great-nieces and great, great -nephews.


Lucy was predeceased by her loving husband LeRoy L. Jensen; son, LeRoy R. Jensen, and many brothers and sisters.
