Fannie Mae Grady GENEVA - Fannie Mae Grady, 90, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thurs. (April 7, 2011) at the Geneva Living Center - South. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wed. (April 13) at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 70 Clark St. Geneva, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thurs. (April 14) at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Fannie was born May 31, 1920, in Banbridge, GA, and was a daughter of the late Pete and Liz (Brown) Carter. She was a devoted and loving mother of ten children. Fannie was known to be strong willed and loved to cook. She was a founding member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her beloved husband, Artis Lee Grady, Sr. of Geneva; sons, Artis Lee Grady, Jr. of Geneva, Columbus Marshall Grady of Seneca Falls, Keith Grady of Geneva, Ken Grady of Geneva and James (Diane) Grady of Geneva; daughters, Maryann (Charles) Mills of Geneva, Cleo Grady of Auburn, Versa Rizzo of Geneva and Lily (Paul) Moore of Seneca Falls; brother, Dee Carter of Geneva; sisters, Bernan Cooper of Geneva and Versa Wright of Geneva; son-in-law, Tom Rowe of Waterloo and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Fannie was predeceased by her daughter Vera Rowe; brothers, Willie Carter and Perry Carter and daughter-in-law, Linda Grady.
