Marie A. Lucey
WATERLOO - Marie A. Lucey, 96, passed away Wed. (April 20, 2011) at the Huntington Living Center. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Mon. (April 25) at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Contributions in Marie's name may be directed to the Huntington Living Center, 369 East Main St. Waterloo, NY 13165.
Marie was born March 31, 1915, in Geneva, and was a daughter of the late William and Helinda (Rouland) Ryan. She was known to brighten everyone's day with her upbeat spirit. Marie enjoyed singing and participated in many activities. She was a member of the Electricnets Club and St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. Marie was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Julie M. and Michael J Stevens.; great-grandchild, Joshua; special friends, Debbie, Nathaniel, Jaden, Noah and several friends at the Huntington Living Center.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, John P. Lucey; daughter, Janet M. Stevens; brother, William R. Ryan and sister, Jane Carluccio.
