Mary I. Flur
WATERLOO / GENEVA - Mary I. Flur, 87, passed away Sun. (May 1, 2011) at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thurs (May 5) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Fri. (May 6) at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
Mary was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Geneva, NY, and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Laura (D'Benedictis) Calvani. She was employed by the Seneca Army Depot as the Military Personnel Director. Mary was a member of St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Robert) Mares; brother, Anhony (Margaret) Calvani; sister, Rita Aiesi; grandchildren, Brandi (Chuck) Wicks, Jake VanDeMortel and Jenna VanDeMortel; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Frank, Alexis, Da'Maurion and Jacob, and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Stephen 'Doc'.
