Sabastino A. 'Sully' Acquilano GENEVA - Sabastino A. 'Sully' Acquilano, 77, passed away peacefully on Wed. (July 20, 2011), at home. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. (July 25) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tues. (July 26) at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, with full military honors. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Sully was born on Dec. 15, 1933, in Geneva, NY, and was a son of the late Dominick and Rosalie (Cutchie) Acquilano. A Korean War-era veteran, he served his country in the Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing with his sons and his friends and was a member of Big Oak Golf Course. He was an avid bowler with the Senior Bowling League at Sunset Lanes and a member of St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Sully was a hardworking man who owned and operated Sully's Barber Shop on North Genesee St. in Geneva. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cammy (Liberio) Acquilano, sons; Michael (Giovanna) Acquilano of Staten Island, NY, Steven Acquilano of Plattsburgh, NY and Christopher (Jane) Acquilano of Mechanicsburg, PA.; brothers, John (Jean) Acquilano of Brandon, Miss. and Joseph (Carol) Acquilano of Geneva; grandchildren, Grace Camille, Katherine Rita, Nicholas Joseph and Maximus Christopher, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two infant children, Sabastino, Jr. and Susan Acquilano.
