Obituary of Mary C. Petrosino

Mary C. Petrosino GENEVA - Mary C. Petrosino, 92, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Aug. 4, 2011), at home, with her loving family by her side. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun. (Aug. 7) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. Mon. (Aug. 8), at St Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Mary was born on Feb. 2, 1919 in Geneva, and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Grace (DeJohn) Carnevale. She worked as a waitress manager, employed by the Belhurst Castle. Mary was the matriarch of the extended Carnevale family, carrying on many family traditions and frequently hosting family gatherings. She was a member of the Rosary Society, the G.A.I.L. Lodge and St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Alan) LaBeouf of Green Cove, FL; sons, Thomas Petrosino, Jr. of Newport News, VA, James (Bonnie) Petrosino of Rochester and Paul (Marguerite) Petrosino of Geneva; grandchildren, Pamela (Phil) Hernon, Jennifer Petrosino, Andrea (Shawn) Saunders, Michael Petrosino, Paul T. Petrosino and Matthew Petrosino; great-grandchildren, Alexzander Petrosino, Victoria Petrosino, Pamela Hernon and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Petrosino, two sisters and many brothers.
