Paul N. Vassello GENEVA- Paul N. Vassello, 60, passed away peacefully on Sat. (Nov. 3, 2012), at Geneva General Hospital, with his sons by his side. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wed. (Nov. 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. The Hydrant Hose Co. will meet at the funeral home at 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Paul was born on April 27, 1952 in Newark, NY and was the son of the late John Vassello and Madlyn Krossber. He was a graduate of De Sales High School. Paul served the community as a fireman for the City of Geneva as a member of the Hydrant Hose Co., and served as an EMT for Finger Lakes Ambulance. He was a life member of the Vintage Car Club, a member of the "Kanandaigua" Corvette Club, the Rochester Corvette Club and the Seneca Town Zoning Board. Paul was a NASCAR enthusiast and took pride in racing and refurbishing vintage stock cars. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Nicholas (Kara) Vassello of Palmyra and Anthony (Dominique DuPont) Vassello of Victor; brothers, Ed Krossber and Steve Krossber, both of Canandaigua; sisters, Mary (Ken) Goodman of Tenn., Ty Krossber and Angel Krossber, both of Canandaigua; adopted mother, Rita Vassello of Waterloo; grandson, Anthony Vassello and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Paul was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lauren Marie Vassello and step-father, Ed Krossber.
