Ralph R. 'Torp' Manino
GENEVA - Ralph R. 'Torp' Manino, 84, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Sept. 1, 2011) at home, with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be private, and at the convenience of the family.
Ralph was born on Feb. 6, 1927, and was a son of the late Leo and Mary (Marciano) Manino. He served his country in the United States Navy. Ralph worked as a union laborer for Local 103 for 50 years. He was a member of the Moose Club and the American Legion. Ralph loved to travel to the Bahamas and visit casinos. He spent the last 20 years in Royal Palm Beach, where enjoyed sitting in the Florida sun.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary (Sawyer) Manino of Geneva; sons, Leo (Lori) Manino of Geneva and Tom Manino of Geneva; brothers, Leo Manino of Geneva and Alfred (Sylvia) Manino of Seneca Falls; sisters, Mary Campbell of Geneva and Dorothy Manino of Geneva; grandchildren, Jennifer (Shawn) Lutgens and Michael Manino; great grandchildren, John Michael and Jade Lynn Manino.
Ralph was predeceased by his brothers, Tony Manino, Fred 'Chicky' Manino and sister, Kay Mariangelo.
