as i sat with uncle dee before he pasted in the nursing home..he showed himself to me as very courageously soft and lucid and funny..very handsome man. i said you look like al pacino..he laughed...we talked of three things...the words i had been imprinted with since childhood ..uncle dee's famous "project" of the day and how it was to be accomplished.."theroretically.my favorite project was the coming down of the popular trees. dee always included the kids in these projects.that was nice....the other thing was the excitement of him coming for the summer in his new 300G crysler..my favorite was the big white one with fins so high and the older grey one we dumpped all the minnows in.not good...he reached his hand out and smiled as i took it...a much present being before me..i told him how much it meant to me his coming down to louisana with mother when i was sick...he was happy i was 25 years sober. we talk of his daughter and how he didn't know how he could have made it without her.his facial expressions spoke only of love...thanks for all the momories uncle dee.. i love you..m
