To the wonderful Chacchia family,
We are so very sorry for your loss.
As Mark says, Rosanne is now in a wonderful place.
The love of Rosanne by her family and friends filled the room at the celebration of her life.
There could not be a better tribute to Rosanne.
Our love to you.

To all of the family my sincere condolances on the loss of your loved one. I am
truly a name from the past as
I worked for S. Danny Chacchia
in the insurance agency years
ago. There I enjoyed all the
children Dan, Rosanne and John. I never read Sunday's newspaper until late Monday
or I would have seen the calling hours and been there
with you. May Rosanne rest
in eternal peace.

I was so shocked to hear of
Roseanne's passing. I had no idea she was sick.
She was my very best friend in High School. We shared so many good times together and even though we haven't seen much of each other since those days, we still remained friends. When we spoke, it was like there had never been any time between us. I will miss her.
I offer my prayers and sympathy to you Johnny & Danny on the loss of your sister and Roseanne's family for the loss of their mother.

* Amiee, Mark & Krisee: I have so many wonderful memories of our childhood times spent together, with my sisters Dawn & Paula as well. Knowing that our Mother's were such great friends that we 6 were raised like cousins...that our Mother's & Father's were each other's Aunt's & Uncles! I think we are all very lucky for that, for although we are not blood related we are family and always will be.
* Mark & I shared some memories today, as well as Dawn and I...and the more we chatted the more things I began to remember. The more I remembered, the more I was able to smile, and realize how very lucky I am to have had all of you in my life and although we had lost contact somewhere in the middle the fact that we have reconnected with one another is another precious gift. I believe we have our Mother's to thank for that. I'm sure that they wanted us to get back on track with each other and to share our lives from here on as we once did. Knowing that my parent's were among the many loved ones waiting to welcome Aunt Roe into the Heavens brings me comfort and happiness, as I know it does for all 6 of us "children"!
* Aunt Roe was a warm, loving, beautiful woman. I feel blessed that she was able to know my husband and hear about my son when he was smaller. I know that she will be watching over all of you & your families. She will still be there in spirit, whenever you need her...you will feel her presence & love all around you. She will hear your words when you speak out to her. She will ease your worries & pains. She will be the light in the darkness that leads you and the strength and the love that guides you.
* Aunt Roe: Thank you so much for being exactly who you are and for sharing in making my life and memories so wonderful. Having had you in my life I have always had a part of my Mother here as well. I miss you & I love you, forever & always- Heather Lynn

Rosanne and I were childhood friends on John and North Main Streets. I remember so well playing after school and attending each others birthday parties. I am sorry I never had the opportunity to continue our friendship into adulthood, having lost track of Rosanne many years ago. A handful of years ago, I bumped into her at Wegman's and was so happy to see her. I regret not ever meeting her family. I discovered her passing several hours after her service or I would have attended. May she rest in peace.

Thank you all for coming and supporting our family and celebrating our mother today. She was very special to all of us! I would like to start out by saying that she was loved, loved by many. I will truly miss her for many reasons and I would love to share a few of those memories that were very special to me. A fond memory of mine was how my mother would always tell me how handsome I was and that she especially loved my ears. She knew how to make me feel good about myself. She also knew that if I was unhappy that all she needed to do was make me her famous turkey burger that she only made for me. She would spice it up with making a side dish of my favorite green beans with oil and special seasonings from mom. If I was really sad she would make me a pot of sauce. Mom and I shared many times cooking together and she taught me how to make her sauce which didn’t really have set servings. It was truly an Italian recipe; “a pinch of this and a pinch of that”. I am honored to know how to cook her pot of sauce. Although we had our differences, we always knew that we loved each other. She always knew I would do anything for her through some very hard times, especially the last seven years. I remember driving up to Strong Memorial Hospital every single day to make sure she was taken care of and hoping she would get better. I admit there were times that I wanted to give up on pushing her to get better and maybe in mind I did a few times but in the end we were always and still will be connected spiritually. We had that mother and son bond that was and never will be broken. She always knew when something was bothering me and I always knew with her. I will never forget the time when I bought her a song and dedicated it to her. This was when she lived at the Garden apartments on Pulteney Street. The song was called “momma” from Boyz to Men. It was very special to her and it was something that only “we” shared together. I will dedicate this song to her one more time so she knows how special she was and is to me. Please think of this as a blessing for my mother as she is now happy, pain free and in a special place. I love you mom and you will always be in my heart! Love, your son

Rosanne was a dear friend of mine since High School. Her greatest wish was to be with family and friends. The light of her soul shines brightly.
