Joan E. Marciano
GENEVA - Joan E. Marciano, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday (Feb 19, 2012) at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call Wednesday (Feb. 22) from 3 pm to 7: 00 pm at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A Mass of Christine Burial will be Thursday (Feb.23) at 9:30 am at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak lawn Cemetery.
Joan was born September 15, 1926, and was a daughter of the late Jesse and the late Velma (Ashley) Branchau. Joan retired after 23 years of service at Willard Psychiatric Hospital. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, cooking and loved her family very much. Joan had only kind things to say about people. She was an amazing woman.
She was survived by her husband, Anthony Joseph Marciano; children, Linda K. (Richard) Mason of Geneva; Frederick F. Marciano of SC; and David A. Marciano of Geneva; 3 grandchildren, Brendan V. (Sarah) Mason of Geneva, Anna Marie Marciano of CA, Ashley Marie Marciano of Geneva; 2 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by her parents and step father, Francis Allen.
