DeMaria GENEVA - Madeline C. DeMaria, 98, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Geneva Living Center North on Saturday (July 7, 2012). Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday (July 10), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva, N.Y. 14456. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 11), at St. Stephen's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneva, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Geneva Living Center North, 75 Mason St. Geneva, NY or St. Francis and St. Stephen School. Madeline (lovingly known as "The Boss") was born June 3, 1914 in Newark, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary (Tabacone) Marro. Madeline was a lifelong member of St. Stephen's Church and the Gail Lodge 2397A. She was a past president of the Catholic Daughters. Madeline was well known for her produce business which she co-managed with her husband, Peter. She was a stay at home Mom who had a love for cooking and baking. Her real passion in life was the time that she spent with her cherished family and friends. Madeline will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Mary) DeMaria of Geneva, N.Y.; daughters, Donna Augustine of Geneva, N.Y., Mary Lee (Michael) Wooden of Atlanta, Ga., and Barbara (David) Stahura of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Thomas Marro of State College, Penn. and Lawrence Marro of Clifton Springs, N.Y.; sister, Angelina Janto of New Jersey; grandchildren; Amanda DeMaria, Maura DeMaria, John (Brandy) Augustine, Elana Augustine, Gena (Ryan) Rouille, Trevor (Ellen) Wooden, Alec Wooden, Brett (Wendy) Stahura and Mary Katherine Stahura; great-grandchildren, Jack, Anna and Nora Rouille; sister-in-laws, Mildred Pettrone and Anna DeMaria; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Peter; sister, Theresa Pitrella; brothers, George and Theodore Marro; son-in-law, Vincent Augustine. Madeline's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to her care givers at Geneva Living Center North, Dr. Collins and the staff at the Medical Associates of the Finger Lakes.
