Richard W. Goldstone "Dickie G" GENEVA- Richard W. Goldstone "Dickie G", 73, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Aug. 17, 2015), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Fri. (Aug. 21), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. The Geneva Sons of Italy Lodge 2397 will meet at the funeral home at 7 p.m. for a prayer service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sat. (Aug. 22), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the Geneva Sons of Italy Lodge 2397, 314 Prospect Ave. Geneva, NY 14456 or to Lighthouse of Collier, 2685 Horseshoe Blvd, Naples, FL 34104. Dickie was born on Aug. 28, 1941 in Geneva and was a son of the late William and Margaret (Balistreri) Goldstone. He was a Geneva High School graduate and worked retail for many years as a manager at the Family Bargain Center and K-Mart in Geneva. Dickie enjoyed attending auctions frequently, collecting guns, coins and jewelry. He ran a booth at the Geneva Antique Co-Op called, "Gold-Stones-Gems." He was a member of the Buck Horn Sportsman's Club in Phelps, the Charles Ellis Coin Club, St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and was very active in the Geneva Sons of Italy Lodge 2397. Dickie was very social and believed life is all about being surrounded by family and friends. His family meant the world to him and he cherished the time he spent with them. He is survived by his daughters, Kim (Bev) Goldstone of Fairport and Robin (Elliot) Goldstone Garcia of Naples, FL .; Longtime companion, Merri Burnett of Geneva; brothers, Scott (Cathy) Goldstone of Rochester and Jeffrey (Colleen McAlpin) Goldstone of Rochester; grandchildren, Dickie's "Blue Light Specials," Andrew Willson, Brianna and Jenna Simpson; a host of cousins and Paisan.
