Frances M. Patino GENEVA- Frances M. Patino, 91, went to Heaven on Tues. (Sept. 22, 2015), where she will be a beautiful angel looking down and protecting her loved ones. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thurs. (Sept. 24), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Fri. (Sept. 25), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Frances was born on June 8, 1924 in Geneva and was one of twelve children, born to the late Peter and Diana (Reale) Chelenza. She worked at Pronti's Restauant when she wasn't looking after her siblings. Frances met the love of her life, Lazaro "Al" Patino, a WWII soldier and was married in 1945. They settled in Geneva, NY, where she became a faithful Catholic and member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews as well as great and great, great. Frances was a caring friend who always sent cards to those that felt ill. She worked at Hulse Manufacturing Company with her husband for years before retiring. Frances made the best rum cakes, pizzeles and spaghetti sauce. She will be remembered for her Sunday dinners, her kindness and her never aging smile. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 70 years, Lazaro "Al" Patino of Geneva; brother, Louis (June) Chelenza of Geneva; sister, Cecilia Peters of Tyler, TX and all of her nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her brothers, Carmen, Michael, Peter, Nicholas and Joseph; sister, Lucy.
