Obituary of Florence M. Arndt

Florence M. Arndt GENEVA- Florence M. Arndt, 84, passed away peacefully Thurs. (Dec. 3, 2015), at Clifton Springs Hospital. Family and friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Mon. (Dec. 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas P. Mull officiating. Contributions may be in Florence's memory to Finger Lakes Hematology/Oncology 6 Ambulance Dr. Clifton Springs, NY 14432, or the American Cancer Society 1120 South Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14520. Florence was born in Geneva on Nov. 15, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Loretto and Madeline Galasso Pacuilli. She was a housewife for most of her life. Florence and her husband, Bob, owned and operated The Post Restaurant in Waterloo for many Years. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace parish and was an avid Bingo player, especially at the Sons of Italy. Florence is survived by her husband, Robert Arndt of Geneva; son, Christopher (Mary Ellen) Arndt of Seattle, WA; 2 grandchildren, Ethan and Abigail Arndt; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in law, Philip (Joan) Arndt; two sisters-in-law, Jane (Bud) Lawson and Flosie Arndt. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by 5 brothers Peter, Orlo, Joseph, James, Rocco; 5 sisters, Jenny, Pauline, Nellie, Louise, and Flora, her twin sister; 3 brothers-in–law, Herman, John and Marvin Arndt.
