Francis Danny J. Crupi GENEVA- Francis Danny J. Crupi, 79, passed away on Sat. (Dec. 5, 2015), at Clifton Springs Hospital. In honoring his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Tues. (Dec. 8), at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo. Francis was born on Jan. 24, 1936, in Geneva, NY and was the son of the late Joseph and Helena (Cacchia) Crupi. He enjoyed the value of hard work and was employed as a manager at the Border City Lumber Yard. Francis loved gardening, bowling, the New York Yankees, the Miami Dolphins, horseshoeing and chess. He leaves behind his daughters, Carolyn (Wayne) Meddaugh of MI, Maryellen (Nicholas) Cerino of TX, Joanne Crupi of Geneva and Theresa (Christopher) Didion of Naples; sister, Nina (Jim) Parrish of OK; his very caring and loving partner, Marilyn Dufault of Waterloo; grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew and Kelly Pennington, Teresa Shelton and Nicholas Cerino, Steven, Katie and Elijah Hornbeck, Luke Didion; three nieces and one nephew. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Beverly Animal Shelter 50 East River St. Waterloo, NY 13165.
