Roxane Melody Sellinger
GENEVA- Roxane Melody Sellinger, 62, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Jan. 4, 2016), at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fri. (Jan. 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Mass and reception will be later this year.
Roxane was born on Nov. 20, 1953 and was a daughter of the late Robert George and Magdalene Rita (Damick) Sellinger. In her teen years, Roxane was an active member of the Geneva Junior Appleknockers Drum Corp. She worked for many years at the Canandaigua VA Hospital, then at the community center at the courtyard apartments in Geneva. Roxane enjoyed sewing and cooking. Since she was so artistic, she loved teaching children arts and crafts. Roxane was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.
She is survived by her brother, Gregory (Shari) Sellinger of FL; sister, Roberta (Wesley) Corkum of NH; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
