Obituary of Susan Ann Amatulli

Asunta "Susan" Amatulli GENEVA – Asunta "Susan" Amatulli, 88, passed away on Monday (January 25, 2016). Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday (January 29) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. The G.A.I.L. Lodge will meet at 6:30 p.m. for prayers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday (January 30), at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet, www.hospicecalumet.org, would be appreciated. Susan worked at Geneva Forge, Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She belonged to the Gail Lodge – Geneva Sons of Italy, Rosary Society and St. Anthony Society of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Ontario County Red Hat Society, and Geneva Senior Citizens Club. Susan was a member and communicant of St. Francis De Sales. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her children, grandchildren, family, and close friends. Susan is the beloved mother of Nick (Marijo) Amatulli of Plainfield, Ill., Donna (Anthony) Amatulli Favia of Munster, Ind., and John Amatulli of St. John, Ind.; grandchildren, Alexa, Lauren, Marco Amatulli; sisters-in-law, Susan (late Salvatore) Russo of Geneva, N.Y. and Madeline (late Anthony) Russo of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmela and Filippo Russo; sisters, Caroline (late Frank) Trunzo and infant, Rose; brothers, Ralph, Joseph, John, and infants, Philip Jr. and Ralph; and father of her children, Saverio "Sav" Amatulli.
