Mark S. Sutliffe WATERLOO- On Fri. (Feb. 12, 2016), we said good bye to the love of our lives, Mark Sutliffe. He was the most caring husband, daddy, papa, son, brother and friend to many. As many of you know, Mark had struggled with heart disease for 6 long years. It was a long and heartbreaking battle that we all endured with him. We will cherish the love he gave to us all even in the sickest times. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat. (Feb. 20), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Mark began his life here in Waterloo April 19th 1961. He graduated in 1979 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. Mark proudly served his country while in Aviano, Italy and finally in Plattsburgh, NY. In 1978, he met his wife to be and married her in 1982. They welcomed their beautiful children in 1983 and 1984. When it came time for a career change, Mark became a NYS corrections officer, where he served for 11 years until he became sick. Mark and his wife then ventured on and began their current transportation business, Finger Lakes Limousine and Coach. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and season ticket holder. Mark leaves behind a loving and caring wife, Tricia; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Christensen; son, Jeffrey (Samantha) Sutliffe; beloved grandchildren, Alyvia, Ella, Isaac, Averie and Talon; parents, Jack and Maryann Sutliffe; sister, Kimberly (Stacey) Sutliffe; nephew, Lorenzo; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Melissa Verkey and children; Mike (Shirley) Pocai and children; father-in-law, Ivo Pocai and wife Donna. He will be missed dearly by his many friends as you all know. Mark was predeceased by his grandparents, Willard and Agnes Sutliffe, Joseph and Josephine Consolie and his mother-in-law, Beverly Pocai, whom he adored. If Mark and our family could leave you with one simple message it would be, "Be a Donor:" Share the love to many who are in need.
