Obituary of Carmela Darlene Guererri

Carmela Darlene Guererri GENEVA- Carmela Darlene Guererri, 81, passed away peacefully on Sat. (March 5, 2016), at her home with her loving family by her side. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tues. (March 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wed. (March 9) at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneva. Contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14620 in Carmela's memory. Carmela was born on Dec. 28, 1934 in Auburn, NY and was a daughter of the late Michael and Jean (Dalberta) Peluso. She graduated from De Sales High School, worked for many years as a telephone operator at NYS Telephone Company. Carmela was a member of the Rosary Society and Mother's Club at St. Francis De Sales School. She loved to cook and feed her family and friends, talk to her numerous friends on the telephone, go to the casino and be with her grandchildren. There wasn't anything that Carmela wouldn't do for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Basil J. Guererri of Geneva; son, David Guererri of Geneva; daughter, Jennifer J. Guererri of Geneva; grandchildren, Vincent Guererri, Justin (Emily) Guererri, Joseph Hatfield, Jr. and Robert (Michelle) Hatfield; Great Grandson, Ryan Hatfield; brothers, Joseph, Michael and John; sisters, Maxine, Michelle and Patricia; sisters-in-law, Eunice, Kathleen and Gloria; brother-in-law, Richard. Carmela was predeceased by her brother Louis Peluso and granddaughter, Amber Guererri.
