GENEVA- Janice P. Hazell, 84, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (March 10, 2016), at the Geneva Living Center North. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sat. (March 19), in Sandhill Cemetery.

Janice was born on May 4, 1931 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Youngman) Pipp. She worked for the Geneva City School District as a teachers aid, retiring after 24 years. Janice volunteered at the food kitchen and was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church of Geneva. She enjoyed camping, knitting and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Hazell of Geneva and Edward Hazell of Summerville, MA; sister, Eleanor Gallipeau of Geneva; grandson, Bennett Owen Hazell; niece, Kathy (Scott) Trefez; nephew, John (Aimee) Gallipeau.
Janice was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Ann Hazell; brother-in-law, Donald Gallipeau and nephew, David Gallipeau.
