Welton Eldridge, Jr.
GENEVA- Welton Eldridge, Jr., 74, passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Fri. (Nov. 18, 2016), at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wed. (Nov. 30), at Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ, in Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Welton was born on March 22, 1942, in Arcola, MS and was a son of the late Welton and Hattie Lee (Williams) Eldridge, Sr.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel (Cathy) Thomas, Albert (Debbie) Thomas, Philip (Stacey) James Thomas, Leonard (Kathy) Thomas and Welton Eldridge; daughters, Princess T. Eldridge and Kathleen (Alfred) Jones; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
