Mildred 'Millie' R. Guererri GENEVA- Mildred 'Millie' R. Guererri, 87, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Jan. 28, 2012), at Geneva General Hospital. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Fri. (Feb. 1), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Millie was born on July 25, 1925 in Geneva and was the daughter of the late John W. and Helen (Legott) Salone, Sr. She worked at Hulse Manufacturing, Magnetics Components, waitressed at Club 86 for many years and retired from Geneva General Hospital. Millie was a life-long member of St. Francis De Sales Church, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the G.A.I.L. Lodge 2397A. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her brother, James (Peggy) Salone of Penfield; sister-in-law, Vinnie Salone of Geneva; step-children, Frank (Patty) Guererri, Philip Guererri, Kathy Guererri and Carol Laws, all of Geneva and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Peter Guererri; son, Joseph Staffieri; brothers, John Salone, Jr. and Paul (Phyllis) Salone.
